At Dev Aastha, we craft every idol with devotion, precision, and care. Our mission is to bring positivity and divine energy into your home. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations, which is why we offer a transparent 7-Day Return Policy.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • 7-Day Window: You must request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Original Packaging (The Velvet Box Rule): Returns must include the original Velvet Box and hard protective packaging. Returns without these will not be accepted as the idol may be damaged in transit.
  • Condition: The idol must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition as delivered, with all tags and invoices included.

2. The "Handcrafted" Disclaimer

Our idols are unique works of art crafted by skilled artisans.

  • Material: Made with a premium Resin base and finished with 999 Silver or 24k Gold plating.
  • Natural Variations: Slight differences in texture, color tone, or dimensions (up to 5%) are natural and not considered defects.

3. How to Initiate a Return

We follow an "Approval & Self-Ship" model to ensure product safety during return.

  1. Request Approval: Email us at Support@devaastha.com or WhatsApp us at +91-8920777817 within 7 days. Attach clear images of the idol and the velvet box.
  2. Review & Address: Our team will review your photos within 24 hours and provide the Registered Return Address upon approval.
  3. Self-Shipment: Pack the idol securely in the velvet box and ship it to the address given. Customers must bear the return shipping costs. Use a reliable courier service.
  4. Quality Check & Refund: After receiving the item, we will inspect it. If it passes QC, your refund will be initiated.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

  • Report Within 24 Hours: Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Proof Required: Provide an unboxing video or clear photos of the damage.
  • Resolution: Verified transit damage will receive a Free Replacement. Cash refunds are not provided for such cases.

5. Cancellations

  • Pre-Dispatch: You may cancel within 24 hours for a full refund if the order has not been shipped.
  • Post-Dispatch: Once shipped, cancellations are not allowed. It will be treated as a return (self-ship policy applies).
  • Refused Delivery: If you refuse delivery of a prepaid order, the refund will be issued after deducting initial shipping & handling charges.

6. Refund Methods & Timeline

  • Refunds are processed within 7 working days after the returned item passes Quality Check.
  • Prepaid Orders: Refunded to the original payment method (UPI/Card/NetBanking).
  • Store Credit (Fastest): Instant store credit voucher valid for 6 months, issued within 24 hours of approval.

7. Exceptions (Non-Returnable Items)

  • Items returned without the original Velvet Box/Packaging.
  • Used items or products with prayer marks (roli/chawal) or customer-caused damage.
  • Customized or personalized idols.
  • Items purchased during Clearance Sales.

Q: Do you offer reverse pickup?
A: Currently, we do not offer reverse pickups. Customers must self-ship the return.

Q: I broke the idol by mistake. Can I return it?
A: No. We do not accept returns for damage caused after delivery.

Q: Why do I need to send photos before returning?
A: This helps us verify the condition before shipping to avoid unnecessary costs and delays.

Q: My silver idol looks slightly dark/tarnished. Is this a defect?
A: No. 999 Silver naturally oxidizes over time. It is not a defect.

Q: How long does the refund take?
A: Refunds are processed within 7 working days after QC approval.
