The charan paduka — Lakshmi's footprints, shown toes-inward to mark the goddess arriving rather than leaving. Each sole carries the traditional marks: the conch, the lotus, the swastika and the om. The smaller pair, for a mandir shelf, a puja thali or a niche beside the main door where space is tight.
